The Details

Visit Length: 2 hours
These informal social event nights are for applicants and accepted graduate students to come ask their questions, meet our graduate program specialists and prepare as you get ready for graduate school at Mines.
  • Accepted students will be able to submit their enrollment decision form at the event to commit to Mines and hold their seat in the program.
  • Appetizers and beverages will be provided at each location.
  • Registration is required for you and up to one guest to attend.
  • This event qualifies you for the First Course Free Scholarship Opportunity for Fall 2026.

Graduate students who are accepted into Colorado School of Mines and attend one of the OREDIGGERS and ORE d’oeuvres event nights are eligible to win scholarship funding for one course.

To Qualify For This Exciting Opportunity, You Must:

  • Be an accepted graduate student to Colorado School of Mines
  • Be enrolled in at least one course for Fall 2026
  • Attend a Mines Graduate Student Event Night

Three students from each Graduate Student Event Night location will be selected at random to receive funding for one course, tuition and fees, on their financial aid award. Funding is only for Fall 2026 and recipients will be notified at Graduate Student Orientation hosted by the Office of Graduate Studies.

Award is a one time award for Colorado School of Mines Students and is not transferable and does not renew.
