Environmental Health and Safety
Environmental Health and Safety plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, upkeep and sustainability of facilities on campus, specifically dealing with potential dangers on campus such as chemical spills and biological hazards.
Mines has an emergency alerts system!
The Mines Emergency Alerts (MEA) System keeps you informed in the event of a campus emergency. This system is an emergency notification service that allows university officials to quickly communicate emergency messages to students, faculty and staff via cellular phone text and voice messages, and on-campus email and phone messages.
Faculty, staff and students are automatically enrolled in the Mines Emergency Alert System. To unsubscribe, logon to Trailhead and go to “Self Service,” click on “Personal Information” and then “Mines Emergency Alert System.”
